(February 22, 2020, 10:55 pm)El Potro is a great Mexican restaurant. The food is delicious and the menu is huge! Almost too big. The house margarita was okay, a little to much mix for me. The service was great too. They have a mariachi band that goes around and plays songs which is amazing! The location is far from the train station, but it is definitely worth the trip!

(March 30, 2019, 4:41 pm)Unlimited chips and salsa. The chips are crispy and freshly made. I ordered the shrimp and fish cooked with onions and green peppers in a delicious sauce; it comes with beans and rice and it was extremely delicious. Waitresses were very nice and helpful.
(March 26, 2019, 6:15 am)We really like El Potro because there just aren't many options for Mexican food in Boston. Food is pretty good. A wide variety of relatively authentic food. Ambience is really nice, especially fun when they have Mariachis performing. One of the places we repeat-visit.

Mexican restaurant in Medford, similar to margaritas in decorations. Wait staffs were friendly and attentive. I ordered fish taco, wasnt bad but lacked seasoning, beers are very reasonably The food, the resturant, the staff, and the mariachi are the best. Thank you El Potro for a great time every time.
