  My Mom moved into The Residence on September 19, 2017, after living with my sister and her husband for five years (thank you Ann & David). Transition is challenging at any age, and this move was difficult for all of us. However, the staff at The Residence made my Mom’s transition to assisted living as smooth and as comfortable as it could be. This is a new way of life for my Mom, but she soon realized that there are numerous activities and events at The Residence to attend and enjoy with new friends. Mom enjoys going to the beautiful dining area to have her meals and to the daily afternoon social hour before dinner. She has her hair done on the incredible fifth floor, which also has a media room, activity room, gym, and roof deck. Mom gets a lot of exercise because she is able to walk around to get to wherever she wants to go. The Residence is a gorgeous living environment. Mom says The Residence reminds her of the Loews on Miami Beach and I agree. If you were blindfolded and brought to The Residence, I guarantee you would think you were in a high end boutique hotel. Recently, I took my friend Sandy to visit Mom and she was blown away by the beauty of and amenities offered at The Residence. There are numerous events scheduled during the day and special events for Holidays, all of which are great for residents and family.
  Mr. Charles James, the Director, is a wonderful man who goes out of his way to know the residents and their families. He is excellent and great to discuss any concern you may have regarding your parent or loved one. Mom loves him too!
  It is refreshing to watch seniors engaged with each other and involved in daily activities in a beautiful and safe environment. This is a great way of life for your parent, or loved one. The fact that my Mom tells me she is happy, well taken care of, and not to worry about her, especially given that I live one hour away, is of great comfort to me. More importantly, my Mom is happy and that is what matters most to me.
  I encourage anyone who may be interested in assisted living to contact Mr. James and take a tour of The Residence-you will love it!

  The experience my family has enjoyed at The Residence at Melrose Station is extraordinary. You are greeted with smiles, the team is so supportive to their clients and when you leave, you do have the assurance that you are leaving your parent in good hands. The meals, maintenance of the facility and activities are brilliant. The Residence at Melrose Station team make this place a home and we do consider them our extended family.

  Hi I am writing this review to let anyone that might be look for a place for a family member the my parent have been living here and its been a great overall experience.
  
  This is an incredible facility and a great location. Its about a 5 minute walk for my parents to go to everything from a grocery store to CVS. Plus there are a unending amount of family owned business and restaurants in down town.
  
  The Residence at Melrose Station has a great restaurant inside the building that I have eaten at multiple times and its always been excellent.
  
  My parents are in the assisted living program and the staff has been great with my mom and dad but also with staying in contact and working with me on everything from helping find a local dentist to have laundry done and delivery medications all in a timely fashion. This part in very important to me as I live on the west coast and truly could not get all these smaller items done with out the continuous help I am offered.
  
  I will also so they have put together a great activities program and even a little happy hour every day or as my mom calls it "Wine Hour"
  
  All in all I would say its a great location, beautiful facility with a very attentive staff that actually cares

  I attended the grand opening of The Residence at Melrose Station. Even walking from the parking lot, I could tell that this was going to be a great experience. I mean, the community is in Historic Melrose! Upon entering the front door, I was greeted with nothing but friendliness and felt overwhelmingly welcomed. Anyone looking for an Assisted Living Community should definitely NOT make a decision until you visit The Residence at Melrose. The food service compares to dining at any of the city’s finest restaurants. The facility is one of the most upscale communities, with luxury at every turn. The view for the upstairs patio is a million-dollar view.

  My dad has lived in the Reflections neighborhood for over 7 months now. He moved from a facility in New York and we were concerned about how he would adjust to the change. It has been an amazing thing to see how smoothly he transitioned and how well he is doing. The staff at The Residence at Melrose Station are absolutely wonderful. Everyone there is professional, thorough and just so kind. They have made it easy for our family to trust that dad is in a great place with loving people.
