The Auburndale Cove area is nice, always seems to be busy and full of kids, and the walking/running trail takes you all the way into Waltham with lovely views of the river and some of the buildings of Brandeis. Keep heading along the river and you end up at Moody Street after running alongside the old Watch Factory and the train tracks... and you can then connect with the trails that take you all the way downtown.”
