(August 23, 2020, 1:16 pm)This is a little gem of a place that my wife and I happened to discover on our Google Map as we explored back streets of Chestnut Hill (Newton MA). Quite small, and just a remnant of what it used to be 100 years ago, but nevertheless well worth a quiet stroll in various seasons to see the foliage change. Like my wife said, "precious."
(July 7, 2020, 6:48 am)Beautiful! Less crowded and fewer off-leash dogs than the neighboring Hammond Pond Reservation. Very peaceful. Lots of birds.

(April 20, 2020, 10:54 am)There is something special about this place. I discovered it while a teenager but didn't remember exactly where it was. It was easy to find as an adult. There is a very fine presence here. Not sure what it is. But it is palpable.
(February 4, 2020, 1:42 pm)Easy little place to spend an hour for a quick hike as a date or with kids. A couple trails to explore, a couple little bridges and benches. Easy to park on the street. Kept clean and clear. No amazing views and barely feels secluded from city sounds, but some nice trees!
