“Well I'm pretty sure that the bakers at Lyndell's are secretly magicians. I ordered a large chocolate birthday cake about 24hrs before I needed it and they delivered one of the most stunning and delicious cakes I've ever eaten. I (and everyone else who saw it) couldn't believe the flowers they put on it weren't real - it was THAT good! And let me tell you, the cake tasted even better than it looked somehow. Their chocolate icing is more like fudge than icing, so it's rich without being overly sugary. I don't know how they did it. If you need a cake for any occasion, you should try one from Lyndell's! Trust me, it's worth whatever they charge for it (which people told me is very reasonable). I mean ultimately it's just a cake, but WOW what a cake!”

“Loved my multiple visits here. I had my hair cut once, colored another time and done up for a wedding another time so I've had a well rounded experience. In true hairdresser fashion the ladies and gents here aren't afraid to chat with you but appreciate individuals who enjoy a quiet relaxing experience. They're a delight to talk to and always kept me smiling. It wasn't long until 3 ladies getting their hair done and their hairdressers were all enjoying one large conversation about wedding preparations and honeymoon ideas with one who was getting her last touch up before getting married the next week. The front desk is happy to work with you to schedule and even provided me quarters to alleviate my parking experience after being nervous I'd get ticketed. They weren't expecting it back when I reimbursed them at the end of the appointment. That being said, make sure to bring quarters and be sure to arrive early to find street parking as the area can be quite busy during the weekends and side streets are for residents only. My color was perfect they really fixed what had happened previously from another hairdresser I had visited from another salon. They are efficient and don't mind last minute adjustments if their schedule allows... like getting an eyebrow wax you weren't originally planning to get but couldn't resist. I highly recommend this locations and any of the individuals they hire. They're a great crew!”

“I have known Carol the owner of L'Optique Boutique for approximately 13 years. She is a phonemonal optician and the service she provides is beyond excellent. Every time my husband and I need new glasses, we go to Carol and are able to pick frames and leave her shop within 45 minutes. The collection she carries is a wide array of styles and brands that are usually not carried by the other optical shops. You would be hard pressed to find them at other shops. I know that she travels internationally to obtain sunglasses and frames that are current fashion wise. She is not the type to push frames that are expensive. She will help you pick sunglasses and frames that will FIT and SUIT you and be practical for the kind of prescription lens that you have. I am very near sighted and she understands how the focal point must be on point for me to be able to see with ease. I highly recommend L'Optique Boutique. Promise you won't be disappointed. Every time I visit her, I always have my frames picked out and new sunglasses in hand as I walk out her shop. ~Hazel”
