“I came here for a trial class. The instructor was refreshingly a gentleman whose focus is to drill techniques progressively into exhaustion. After class the basement was an open mat where I could work out on my own. The whole time I felt like I wasn’t being stared at or scrutinized which allowed me to get in my zone and stay in my zone. After that I learned there weren’t showers so I had my first disappointment as I drove home a mess. I would definitely come back.”

“Two years ago, I knew I needed to make a change and that the change needed to start with working out. I wanted to find something that I would stick with. I didn't want to just join another gym...again. I wanted to find a community and I needed to find a place that could and would meet me where I was at, work with what I had, and support me in getting to where I wanted to go. I have a few degenerative discs in my back and I'm always nervous to jump into things because if they go badly, they can go really badly. All of the coaches at Achieve are amazing people in addition to being amazing trainers. The community at Achieve is awesome - I don't know how it's possible that every single member is great, but they are! Everyone is super friendly and supportive and it doesn't matter if you're doing body weight squats to a tall box or squatting twice your body weight. This isn't just a judgment free zone - it's a celebrate wherever you're at zone. When my work schedule changed, I struggled to find a new routine that worked for me and I was going less frequently. At your typical gym, I feel like this is a win for them, they get money without needing to provide any services, but at Achieve, they were proactive in reaching out and helped me brainstorm ideas that could work for me. I went in and literally sat down with Sarah and wrote all of the different permutations of how my weekly workouts could fit and we kept at it until I found a routine that I could successfully implement regularly. Every single coach says hi to every member when you come in. It's such a welcoming place - I can't stress that enough. All of this awesomeness doesn't come free. As with all things, you get what you pay for. I waited a long time before actually going in because I wasn't sure I wanted to pay this much for a gym quite frankly. But eventually, I realized that sitting around thinking (but not doing) wasn't do anything for me so I decided that this would be an investment in myself. I give a lot of myself in my job, and in order to do that, I need to give back to myself. Self-care...I preach it all the time and decided I needed to practice what I was preaching. It took some finagling budget-wise, but it has been worth every single penny. Other quick things I love about Achieve: 1. There are people in all stages of life and fitness here and all are equally supportive of everyone else. Whether you're a professional athlete or not yet able to walk around the block without stopping for a breath, you will be welcomed and celebrated just as you are. 2. The camaraderie is second to none - I have actual real-life friends that I made at Achieve. Not just gym friends, but friends friends. 3. All of the coaches genuinely love what they do, are super invested in their own learning, and sharing their knowledge with each other and with members. I just cannot say enough about this place.”
