While enduring challenges with my health- anxiety, depression, nutrition, and fertility, I luckily stumbled upon George Mandler. I was desperately seeking alternatives to my Doctor’s gloomy ‘remedies’ (antidepressants, IVF, yikes...).
    George provided immediate reassurance.
We have been working together for nine months. Since day one, George has proven to be a thoughtful, patient listener whose sharp observations and experiences allow him to identify deficiencies in health in order to form treatments for the body as a whole.
My treatment was kickstarted after my very first (free) consultation, with his prompt guidance on nutritional changes. Immediately, I began to feel empowered and relieved. I continue to leave each acupuncture visit with a new sense of trust in my health. Between visits I take the herbal supplements tailored specifically for my nutritional needs. The herbs have become a welcoming, calming ritual. They are plain bitter tasting, but it is comforting knowing they are nourishing my body and my growing baby.
George is an exceptional practitioner. He is invested and accommodating in not only helping one heal, but reaching optimal health. He has educated me, my body, and mind. Each day I access the knowledge and tools he has provided me. Since working with him, I have discovered a newfound sense of harmony, wellness, and hope which I never thought possible.

I've been seeing Dr. Mandler for a couple of months now, primarily as a nutritionist, and can already see the results. Dr. Mandler helped me make sense of my various, and seemingly not related, symptoms. Consequently, I changed my diet, kicked my sugar habit, and became much more aware of what I eat and how the food affects the way I feel. Dr. Mandler is highly knowledgeable (my diagnosis is off the beaten path), has a calm and nonjudgmental demeanor, and is a pleasure to talk to. Most importantly, he has a holistic and common sense approach to nutrition and health, and you definitely won't get instructions to eat low fat anything here! Highly recommend!

George is a great guy, and super friendly. His immense knowledge of acupuncture is clear. He has reversed years of chronic shoulder pain. I felt like I had tried all of my options and was ready to just live with my pain. George got rid of my pain and it continues to feel that way. That's more than I can say about anyone else's treatments.

We took our 7 year old daughter to see George for nutrition because she was having GI issues daily. She had been on a gluten free diet for over four years (she has Celiac Disease) but something else was going on. We were told it could be in her head and to take her to a therapist. She told George at her initial visit that her stomach always hurt and she didn't know what it felt like to be normal. George reviewed her history/labs and he examined her and he told me her symptoms were real. She started LEAP and we eliminated the foods that came up as reactive and her GI issues all but disappeared. She is in her 4th month on the "Mr. George Menu" (as she refers to it) and she is continuing to feel great!

Shortly after our daughter starting seeing George, I started to see him for acupuncture. I had thrown my back out and had terrible lower back pain. Knowing nothing about acupuncture I was very nervous at my first appointment. George was quick to put me at ease with his sense of humor and overall calm demeanor. I was pleasantly surprised at how relaxing acupuncture is and I was thrilled when my back started to feel better. I also noticed other improvements. I have suffered from PMS for years and those symptoms have greatly improved. As well, I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis 16 years ago and have been on various biologics and other medications that have less than desirable side effects. Since starting acupuncture a few months ago, I am now off of two of my three medications. I also recently started LEAP and discovered that I am histamine intolerant and amine sensitive. This explains so many of the bizarre symptoms that I have experienced for a very long time. I am anxious to see how changing my diet will improve my overall health.

My husband also started to see George for acupuncture as he suffers from lower back pain following a car accident that he was in nearly 20 years ago.

George is quick to respond to any questions that we have (and there have been many!). Not only is he very patient and knowledgeable, but he is also sincere and genuine. He really does want you to feel better. Three out of four members of my family are treated by him; what a true testament our family is to what a wonderful provider George is!
