Was awesome
Stayed at this unique B&B a couple of weeks ago in the upstairs Covenant Suite. The historic house, built in 1734, is simply amazing - there even was a fireplace in my BATHroom! Loved the comfortable breakfast and sitting area and my amazing suite. The owners lovingly preserve the feel of the historic house and have an eye for beautiful details - like fresh flowers in the bedroom! It was a very relaxing and comfortable stay. Can't think of a single thing that would have made my stay better - it was perfect! Vicki recommended a great place for dinner and cooked a very tasty breakfast. Highly recommend!
A lovely B+ B , Vicki is an amazing, warm and smiling hostess She has thought of every possible thing one could need . Our room was lovely, clean, quiet and comfortable. We had the house to ourselves the two nights we we're there.Everything is included- amazing breakfasts made to order ,wine, beer, snacks, reccommendations.Treats in our room included fresh flowers, chocolates, coffeemaker, bottled water, fluffy bathrobes and towels.Oh, an she irons the sheets. Highly recommend if you are going to be in the Stowe Massachusetts area that you stay here.
We have stayed at Amerscot House Inn three times now, and will be back again in the future. We are made to feel at home for the duration of our stay. Traditional English/American breakfast in the morning is amazing, rooms are comfortable and spacious. We particularly enjoy having a complimentary glass of wine on the patio (overlooking one of the gardens) while playing a board game into the night.
My husband and I went for a New England Fall Foliage trip two years ago, and staying at Amerscot House Inn was a highlight. We are definitely planning on going back someday and we'll stay here the entire time instead of just one night. The hosts were so kind, accommodating, and welcoming. We had to leave at a very early hour the morning after our stay, way before they normally serve breakfast, but they made us a wonderful breakfast anyway. My husband had salmon for breakfast, and I had an American/English breakfast (with tomatoes and mushrooms, which I love!). We visited the Shelburne Apple Farm just down the road, and had a delightful time picking fresh apples and having heavenly cider donuts. If you're visiting Massachusetts, stay here. You will not regret it.
