My children have been attending Tigard Knowledge Beginnings for the past 4 years. They have consistently provided high quality, compassionate, safe, and professional care to my kids. We have experienced preschool, Pre K classes, summer activities, after school care and now school age care during Covid- 19. Through each of these developmental stages, the curriculum and care has been specific, appropriate, and thoughtful to both of my boy's needs. The teachers are caring and talented. My kids love attending! Most importantly, I know that my kids are safe, happy, and healthy when they are at TIgard Knowledge Beginnings.

Our son has been in pre kindergarten for several months now and he really enjoys his days at Knowledge Beginnings! The teachers and staff are very friendly, we are always welcomed into the classroom with a smile, they do a lot of activities with the kids, and they go outside every day, weather permitting. Would definitely recommend this place!

Our daughter has continued to thrive and do so well at her school. She likes to go to school.
Her teacher’s have been wonderful. They give all the students dedicated and focused individual attention. It is a very developmental and nurturing learning environment.

It feels like family.

Our daughter has also made great friends which she looks forward to seeing each day.

We also have taken advantage of some of the specialty classes that are offered.
She has enjoyed phonics and music adventurers — she has really flourished.

Both of my boys are very well taken care of. My oldest started at 20 months and the staff was great with the transition. My youngest started out as an infant and the staff was very supportive, especially as i have a child with special medical needs. They always keep me in the loop on how is doing and knows when to escalate things to me.

Both of our sons (18 months and 3 and a half years) attended the Knowledge Beginning in Tigard, OR. This is the best childcare in SW Portland. We visited a lot of childcare before to decide on this one and we never regretted our choice. The director was excellent and professional. The teachers were all very nice with both of our sons and surely created some special relationship with them very quickly. The tuition is expensive but you pay for what you get. The other institutions were just so sad and not nearly as organized as Knowledge Beginnings.
Several times a week, the childcare brought in some artists or jugglers to entertain the kids with a show. The outside of the childcare is nicely layout and kid friendly. Although I personally would have like to see more shadow spots.
My main worry was for my 3 and a half to be challenge and learn a lot. The setting in the childcare was perfect to achieve these goals. I would recommend this center to anyone who is willing to make some worthy sacrifice for the good of their kids.
