    Whistle stop is well equipped, with multiple versatile sets, a great prop closet/model prep area, and the owner Gary is super responsive and helpful!

    I've done two model shoots at Whistle Stop Studios. There are three sets: high key, low key, and boudoir, and there's a separate area for models and make-up artists to prepare. The studio has about 8 Einstein strobes set up with different Paul C. Buff modifiers, typically set up for headshots, but you can alter the lighting as you see fit. If you want standard key/fill/hair lighting, you can basically walk in, put a trigger on your hotshoe, and start shooting.

    The studio is in a mini-mall right off of Route 62, and walking distance from a commuter rail stop. (Hence the name.) It's not in the typical industrial area where you find some other studios.
