“You and your pet are in excellent hands at Wayland Animal Clinic. Dr. Pinsky went out of her way to save my dog's eyesight when she had acute glaucoma, fitting us into an emergency appointment on a busy Saturday. Dr. Boardman did an excellent job on a tooth extraction on our now senior dog. These vets are among the best trained in the country while at the same time being compassionate, approachable, and very good listeners. The WAC is great too! Postscript: We had to euthanize my dear old companion Ziva at age 12 last week due to inoperable cancer. A friend said, “Dogs give us thousands of the best moments in our lives and one of the worst.” WAC let us do it in the private backyard of the clinic, which is in a converted house, on a blanket on the grass. It felt like home. They gave us all the time we needed to be with her, and she was so happy to be with us outside together on a sunny day with birds chirping and the sounds of kids playing off in the distance. They were so comforting and patient with us, and Ziva slipped away gently and peacefully with her head resting in my hands. As a longtime client, I was so grateful and surprised that they didn’t even charge us. This was a moment I dreaded for many years, but I can’t imagine it being performed more sensitively and compassionately by anyone anywhere else. The benefit of having a sustained relationship with WAC became crystal clear to me. May this independently owned and operated veterinary clinic continue to help animals and their human families for many years ahead.”

They are fantastic with all my animals, big and small and I recommend him every chance I get. Dr. Kim's surgical skills are amazing as well, within a month you could not even tell where Mya (my pit bull aka very short haired dog) had even had her surgery. His pricing is also something to boast about. At first look his pricing may seem average or inline with other vets but there have been times where I've felt I'm cheating him, never the other way around. The receptionist matched me with Dr. Schmidt who was very knowledgeable about German Shepherds and spent over an hour talking with me about proper puppy care, He was extremely gentle and showed care and compassion towards my dog. The Vet fees and price were the same as the other clinics I looked into, The receipt was itemized and made it clear what I was being charged for and how much. They suggested pet insurance and strongly encouraged me to shop around for one that I felt comfortable with. “Our dog Sasha was recently diagnosed with lymphoma at our local vet. We were told at that time there was a long waiting list to see a cancer specialist. We reached out to the small number of oncologist in the area and Animal Cancer Care was the only one that could get us an appointment. From day 1 we were totally impressed with the professionalism, compassion and friendly atmosphere of the staff. The doctor on day 1 gave Sasha a thorough exam and met with my wife and I to discuss our options as far as treatments. We did not feel pressured or made to feel we had to rush into making a decision in which treatment route to take. We are a family of modest means and the cost of giving Sasha the best chance of extending her life,let me be blunt,is not a cheap venture but we put our love for Sasha above all the costs. We chose the CHOP protocol which is a very aggressive chemo regiment, over a 3 month period. We are currently in our 4th week and have already seen an improvement. Though we were told up front that there is no cure and that this is only going to extend her life we feel it is worth it. Sasha is family. I can’t understand how anyone could give a bad review of the facility. Maybe emotions play a part when people are told the truth and can’t handle the bad news, I don’t know but what I do know is that this place gets 5 stars from all of us!!”

“First off, the staff here is just filled with love! And that is paramount. But let's look at logistics. When you called to tell them you're coming, they ask for everything that they need to get you in quickly, they reach out to your vet to transfer paperwork, and when you arrive there is clear information about where to park and what to do so that you can get in. Moreover, as things start getting ready to move forward, they are upfront with you about what to expect financially, as far as recovery, and etc. For me, at least, they told me everything I could expect in the worst case scenario and so it was a huge surprise and a relief when my bill was actually less than I expected. :-) I can't see any reason that I would go anywhere else now that I've experienced them!”
