I've had several occasions to ask the Dover police for assistance. Each time the officers (or in one case the chief) have been extremely polite and helpful. The feeling is that they really care about the welfare of the community. I'm very grateful to them for protecting us.
The officers here were life savers. I had dropped my vehicle into a ditch and had been waiting 3 hours for a tow from AAA when two officers arrived to check on me. I was to wait 2 more hours for the tow but they hooked up a cruiser to my van and pulled me out saving me from waiting until I froze to death in single digit temps!
