In 2018 I found myself in the unfortunate position of needing a criminal defense attorney. This was a serious case. I was facing a mandatory year jail sentence if found guilty. I felt I was innocent of the charges. I met with two possible attorneys who told me my options were to either plead-out my case or take a chance and go trial. I didn’t like either of those options.
