You gotta love that dirty water?!?! I am not really sure how to rate a river but the Charles is pretty special if you live in and around Boston. It is small and winding near where I grew up with lots of wildlife and kayaking opportunities. Further east it is the border between Cambridge and Boston. It is always fun to walk along the Cambridge side and see the lights of the city at night.
