I have worked with Ed for years, and I count knowing him as a blessing. A therapist and person like him is rare nowadays - he is someone who has the utmost and genuine respect for the people he works with. Finding a good therapist is difficult, let alone someone that is trustworthy - someone who can be trusted to have your well-being as a priority. A lot of therapists will promise to fix this and that for you, and as consumers that's almost seductive. After all, who doesn't want the allure of promise? But I have been let down too often by those that speak the loudest and lack any meaningful substance on the inside. With Ed, this is someone I trust, this is someone I respect, this is someone I know who will support me and help me through this difficult experienced called life. He has helped me grow through some of the most confusing and challenging times.
Instead of empty promises, with Ed I have found someone who is will to listen to me and understand me as who I am. He is a therapist and scholar worthy your time to check out, especially if you are someone who is frustrated by and find little meaning/respect in the superficiality of our technology-driven life.
