Man I wish I could remember the guys name that just set up the two guitars for me, since the day I bought this beautiful American Stratocaster it has not felt as good in my hands as it does right now sitting in front of my computer. I forget sometimes how important it is to make sure your guitar is set up right and it’s hard to find the right guy. When you barely have to press a string to get a good tone it allows you to work with the instruments so much more. I’ve been looking for a good guitar set up guy for a few years now, this is the right guy.
A great shop in Stoughton, they have an excellent selection of ukuleles and nylon string guitars. Not to mention their huge selection of instrument parts, books, and the lessons they offer!
Small place with few guitars from lesser known manufacturer. Great ukulele section. They cater more towards lessons, pianos, small mix of other instruments, etc. Not a typical guitar store but worth checking out.
This is a music store for band instruments, lessons, learning materials and ukuleles, as well as classical guitars and student grade violins and cellos. It's not a guitar based music store at all. The selection of ukuleles is probably the best in the state.
I've wanted a cello for a while but the only places I could find on the Internet from Maine to Massachusettes sold them for no less than 30,000$, and I didn't want to risk ordering one online and having it break. Stoughton music center had a really nice cello, bag and bow combo for a really great price. Would highly recommend for buying a cello!
