Dr. Shani is amazing! She is extremely thorough and takes the time to evaluate her patients. Dr. Shani cares about their physical as well as mental well being. We feel so lucky to have found her.

Dr. Kumarasena is an exceptional pediatrician. She is very thorough and takes time to discuss and explain. She is sensitive to the children’s needs and perspectives when discussing issues with parents.

Dr Kumarasena has been my daughter’s pediatrician since she was born and she is now 16. Dr Shani - as we call her, is patient, kind and easy to talk to about any subject. She is always diligent with her follow up and offers excellent advice. As a parent, I love her because she has conversations with me about many topics and doesn’t “talk down” to me because I am not a clinician. I highly recommend her to friends and family.

My daughter is 12 years old. We know Dr Shani from day one. She has been God sent! There aren’t enough superlatives to describe the kind of care she gives to her patients and the support she gives to the parents. She is knowledgeable but keeps learning and expanding constantly. She takes all the time you need. She always considers natural remedies, the entire immune system and the emotional components involved. She always has something to add to the main course of action. Her referrals have been outstanding. She is available in the middle of the night when your 6 month old has a fever and you are freaking out. She available to talk and explain and help all the time no matter how small or big your concern. Dr Shani makes you believe that you matter as much as her own children. I am for ever grateful for all she has done for us. Any kid who can have her as their doctor would be lucky!

Dr Kumarasena is an extraordinary pediatrician. She’s not only a pediatrician but a counselor in my opinion. She carries a wealth of information that she’s willing to share anytime with us. She even supports us off hours and I cannot thank her enough for allocating that time for her patients. The amount of information she has shared so far about parenting and child development cannot be obtained easily. She’s not only treating her patients physically but she gets to the emotional development and help parents understand how that can be tackled concurrently. My personal experience is that she brings a different perspective on how parenting and child development can be done. I highly recommend her as a pediatrician.
