(June 15, 2019, 12:07 am)We just recently moved in to Waterford Village and it has been a great experience so far. Jacinta is our leasing agent and she has been so informative, prompt with her responses and really helpful when we have any questions or concerns.
PROS:
- Close to Rte 18 and 495 (literally, like riiiight around the corner)
- Updated apartment furnishings
- SmartHome thermostat and lock (could be a downside for some, though)
- Gas, heat, water, hot water is included in the rent. You only pay for electricity and internet/cable
- Amenities are such a cool deal: tennis courts, basketball court, volleyball court, golf range (yes!), a portion of the garden, options for storage spaces for an additional cost, updated gym, swimming pool, picnic areas, dog park and even a private nature trail
- Pets are allowed. Again, for an additional cost per month.
- Gas stations are nearby
- 24 hours fast food options nearby - it's near a college so I guess this is why this exists
- CVS, Walgreens, Bridgewater's main street is also just two streets away
- They have an online portal that allows you to pay your rent with your credit card (ALL THAT REWARDS POINTS THOUGH!)
- Service requests for the apartment can be placed on the portal and they're very prompt with the turnaround time.
- washer and dryers on each building. you can also refill your laundry card online.
- They offer secured lockboxes (think Amazon lockers) for each resident for $50/annually but this will give you peace of mind
- Beautiful landscaping, it's so well-maintained! You can also walk around the area and
- Good for families with kids, good proximity for BSU students
- Trash bins are located at the back of each building. I think they have 50 buildings, wow.
CONS:
- I didn't get to tour our apartment prior to moving and I only received the key upon moving in.
- The second 'walk-in' closet that was pictured on the apartment layout turned out to be a linen closet with shelves. I'll update if they can allow us to remove the shelves to make it a true walk-in closet.
- The speed bumps are so high and way too many! It takes a while to go around the property. The speed bumps scrapes the bottom of my car each time I go over one. I don't know if this is good for any car in the long run.
It's only been month one here and it's been lovely. We love this area! I'll do another update in the next half year. Hoping it stays the same or better!

(April 3, 2019, 12:48 pm)My move in experience with Jacinta and Jason were great! I do have some concerns in regards to how much water the surrounding yards trap, and how many/ how high the speedbumbs are. I understand the need for safety, but they’re a little aggressive. Hopefully come spring time the yards will dry up, in the meantime I get humor every time I walk outside shouting “THIS IS MAH SWAMP!”.
(March 26, 2019, 5:22 pm)I have lived here for a year and I love my apartment, the community is beautiful, well kept and friendly neighbors. The best part is it is pet friendly. The staff is amazing, Rachel, Brittany, Jacinta, and Jaeson are very helpful if you have any problems and do whatever they can to help they are amazing thank you for letting me call this my home.
