In light of these objectives, the Brockton Day Nursery has selected the following as it's IPM policy statement: B.POLICY STATEMENTIt is the policy of the Brockton Day Nursery to implement Integrated Pest Management (IPM) procedures to control structural and landscape pests and minimize exposure of children, faculty, and staff to pesticides.
In 1894, Brockton Day Nursery opened its doors as the "1894 Club", an organization of young women guided by Leila Delano Richmond as the first child care in the city to serve mothers needing to continue schooling or enter the workforce.
