Working with Dawn Hadley @ Engel & Volkers while selling my mother’s house after her passing last Spring was one of the easiest parts of settling the estate. Dawn was patient and worked through some tough situations without breaking a sweat. Her cool, calm mindset kept anxiety low and gave confidence in the process. Her promptness, knowledge of the market, strategic mindset, kindness, positive energy made a potentially chaotic selling process as simple as possible. Dawn was immensely patient with seemingly endless questions, finding answers and dealing with selling a house in a trust with multiple siblings, with a smile on her face and a can do attitude. The amount of effort and time she put into walking our family through the process is unbelievable. From the first day that we met, months before the house was ready for sale, she spent hours walking my siblings and I through the “big picture.” From there on out, she was always available to provide us with the information that was needed, from referrals for lawyers, yard service, Title 5 inspectors to cleaners. She had a vision and came through with advice, staging and attention to detail.

Not only did I feel like I had all the information I needed to make decisions, but I also felt like I was in good hands. Dawn and her team made the selling process easy and helped me understand what was happening every step of the way from thousands of miles away. As the Trustee, I live out of state and Dawn went above and beyond to go to the house and check on it while I was away. But this just speaks to her commitment to making sure we were well taken care of. Once we got into escrow, she was diligent in making sure we had all paperwork in place, communicated with the buyer’s agent, and kept us up to date and informed. Overall, I would strongly recommend Dawn Hadley to anyone looking to buy or sell a home. I would trust her attention to detail, her attitude and love of her job and level of time/dedication to her clients , all which were outstanding. I cannot say enough about my experience with Dawn. Dawn is the Queen of Fabulous! No other Realtor could have won my complete trust and managed to organize my move from my home of 31 years 1000 miles away from Duxbury to Michigan and sell my house as efficiently as humanly
possible!! Dawn was the ultimate professional at this. She was knowledgeable, tireless, organized and above all reassuring that yes! We were going to get everything done. Did I mention that she sold my house practically overnight? Dawn is the best in the business!!

Dawn is the perfect realtor (and so much more). Dawn was our realtor for helping us move to the south shore from far out of state which had its own complications but she stepped up to every task that we needed to help us find the perfect south shore home we were looking for. She was there for us every step of the way and her advice was very honest which I greatly appreciated in this crazy housing market. We were able to find the house we were looking for and honestly I don't know if it would have been possible without Dawn. Even after closing on our new home Dawn has been a huge asset to making plans for moving in and making the place our own.
