In March of 2013 I had an MRI on the island of St. Martin. Diagnosis was as follows: protruding discs c5 and c6, mechanical, no inflammation, nor infection, blood work perfect. Prescription is to resume physical activity and 20 sessions of physical therapy. I followed the doctor's orders but still no relief.

The injury happened roughly 15 years ago in yoga in the pose halasana or plow position where you are laying down on your back and your feet go up and over behind your head. I believe I took the pose too far and if I remember correctly I heard a pop in my neck. Prior to that when I was 14 I dove too shallow at the beach and jarred my neck but never had any neck issues until the yoga incident.

I have tried various treatments: physical therapy, trigger point therapy, cortisone injections, chiropractic, atlas orthogonal, acupuncture, cupping, gua sha, tui na massage, kinesiology, rest, yoga etc… There are times when I get relief (it never goes away 100%) but it never lasts for very long, either a plane ride, stress, sleeping wrong etc... throws me back out. In the past year or so I’ve started to have sensations running down my right arm (not constant).

I have a very high tolerance for pain but as one can imagine, after 15 years with constant discomfort, it’s tiring.

The pain led me to google "pinched nerve treatment near me" and Dr. Hayes came up. I immediately called the office, Dr. Hayes ordered an MRI and the findings were the same as in 2013. Dr. Hayes was confident with his course of action and after the first treatment I literally had relief. I've had about 7 treatments so far, a combination of manual manipulation under the careful and gentle hands of Dr. Hayes, non-invasive laser therapy, infrared light and gentle traction. This is a winning recipe and I can finally say I am pain free. I am so grateful to have found Dr Hayes, what a gem this guy is! If you are in pain, don't think twice.

Dr. Hayes is an amazing practitioner in his field of chiropractics but that's just the tip of the iceberg. His knowledge of human physiology far exceeds any other chiropractor I have received treatment from as he continues to improve his skills for the benefit his patients. In my experience, he is by far the best at what he does and has helped me out of great pain many, many times over the past several years. To add to that, his caring and kindness is genuine and he is truly a gift to all of his patients! You will find no one better to care for whatever ails you here in the South Shore!

Dr. Hayes gave me my life back. I had gone to many doctors over the years that could not give me any relief from my fibromyalgia pain. At my first visit with Dr. Hayes, he believed me, pointed out a few other health issues I was not aware of that was adding to my pain, and set me up with a treatment plan. He made sure I understood everything perfectly and his staff was kind and understanding to my needs. Because I followed his treatment plan, I have gone from a 7 to 10 average level of pain to a 3 to 6 average. I can do some work and take care of myself on a daily basis. I do not spend 75% of my life in bed from pain anymore.

For anyone in any type of pain, do yourself a favor and call him. He will work with you on your finances to make sure you can feel better.

I have been to him in the past. This brand new office, is at the end f my small street. I an look out my living room window and look up 2 houses, across the street, and he has been there as long as I can remember. I lived here for 26 years. He is a good Dr. Or he never would have made it in this town for this long. Like I said, they just did the outside ,and parking lot all over. Inside I'm sure too.
