Otherwise drop in to one of the chains and you *won't* get the sort of attention that this family owned business offers. I am totally blown away with Ely, the owner's son. What a great guy -- knowledgeable, good-humored, not even the faintest note of being pushy or trying to steer me in one direction or another. Where else do you find that sort help? I am so happy to have discovered the Piano Mill.
And the delivery guys were every bit as personable, helpful, courteous, and attentive. They set everything up just beautifully. Piano Mill even hauled away my old clunky upright at no additional charge. I don't think that Amazon does either -- set up *or* removal.

I was so impressed with Rob's 100% dedication to customer satisfaction and straight talk (in a business filled with sharks) that I invested in his business. The Piano Mill continues to be a place where you can get a great deal on a piano that fits your needs, whether you're a virtuoso or a beginner, without worrying that you'll conned or up-sold. Check it out - it's worth the trip.
(November 14, 2018, 11:03 am)Just purchased a refurbished Yamaha U3 upright piano and couldn't be happier. After shopping around Piano Mill beat every other stores price and included moving and followup tunings! I received a brand new padded adjustable bench for free. The delivery was made the day I requested and was flawless. Piano Mill even gave me arrival time updates so I was able to run home during my lunch break.

They have great customer service, and the guy who showed up to move the piano were courteous and were on time. No muss, no fuss, couldn't have been easier. I would highly recommend, and I plan on looking to them for future services!
(October 1, 2018, 4:59 pm)Excellent service, went the extra mile to coordinate moving our piano of 3 generations to a new home in Boston. Movers we're considerate, kind and careful. I can't say enough good things about each person we encountered at the Mill. You can't go wrong with choosing the Piano Mill for anything you may need here!
