After developing a persistent runner's knee like injury, I went to David Watson for PT. He aptly diagnosed the cause (weak glut medius/quad on my left side) and provided me with a list of exercises for how I could remedy the process. He wasn't pushy about demanding lots of sessions, which I enjoyed.
After ~6 weeks of sessions (2 a week), I felt I had improved and have been able to increase my milage without knee pain. He suggested I continue exercises on my own schedule and we ended our sessions together.
Definitely would recommend for a PT.
I came to PPT for therapy post ankle surgery, and am so thankful to David for his care over the course of the semester (about 3 months). He is highly attentive and provided me with many creative exercises that I hadn’t seen before. For instance David has a unique way of doing ankle mobilizations with straps that really helped my ankle regain flexibility. He is also incredibly encouraging and helped me stay positive when my progress was slower than I wanted. It was super easy to book appointments at PPT and they were very understanding of my hectic and unpredictable college schedule. The facility is spacious and well equipped and in a convenient location for college students in the area. Overall would highly recommend PPT, thank you guys so much!
Very happy with Dave at Prof PT. Struggling w/chronic hip pain for about 12 years now after a really bad hip replacement. Was resigned to living in greater and greater chronic pain til I went to see these guys. Dave is bringing me back to life. My hip hurts less and is getting stronger. I have hope for the future where there was none. Highly recommend Dave and this office!!
David Watson is a fantastic physical therapist. I highly recommend him. I saw David at Professional Physical Therapy for a painful disc issue in my lower spine (L5S1). He got me from not being able to sit, bend down, climb stairs or drive without severe pain, to painless and fully functional in a matter of months. But it wasn’t just exercises; David taught me how to manage my pain without taking meds, how to address flare ups of sciatica, and retrained me in the proper form to use when sitting, bending, lifting and other daily movements.
David is professional, respectful, and a true expert. He is extremely knowledgeable about his field and uses a mix of traditional methods and the latest techniques/technology. I found that David always ensured that he spent enough time with me in a session to address my questions. I learned a lot that really helped me in my recovery, including the strategy and why I was doing each exercise or activity.
So if you are looking for a top-notch physical therapist, I highly recommend David Watson. He fixed my back and gave me the ability to function pain free again.
Dave Watson is an absolutely excellent physical therapist. I dislocated my shoulder playing ultimate frisbee, and saw Dave for about 2-3 months. He is extremely knowledgable about the workings of the body, and can communicate them in understandable language. He was eager to help me get back to my sport, and was very conscientious of my goals and timeline of when I would like to be playing again. Dave also is great to talk to, and takes a genuine interest in your pain, experience, and regular life! I enjoyed every minute of my physical therapy sessions, and I felt he pushed me appropriately so that I healed properly and regained strength quickly and completely. By the time I was healed and could go back to athletics, I was sad to say goodbye! Definitely would (and do!) recommend him for anyone who needs a physical therapist.
