Dr. Smith replaced my hip 9 months ago. I am glad to report I feel great. I forget I even had a knee replacement! Dr. Smith was a pleasure to deal with. He was very professional. The surgery went very well. I was walking up and down stairs 3 hours after surgery. It was amazing. I was at the gym and driving two weeks later. It seemed miraculous. I highly recommend Dr. Smith.

Dr. Smith replaced my left hip in December, 2019 and did a marvelous job. I was walking right away and, when cleared after 3 months, was playing tennis. No pain, full range of motion. Kudos to Dr. Smith and the incredible team and procedures at New England Baptist. They best!!!

My husband, Bill, had a total hip replacement performed by Dr. Smith in 2016. Within the 5 days, he was able to climb stairs using a cane. He was back on the golf course within 4 months! It might have been sooner but snow on the course precluded earlier play. What an amazing doctor. We were so fortunate to have been given this referral. Outstanding surgeon and a very fine man!
