“Went fishing here on July 2nd. Spent two hours (6am-8am)on the dock near the road and didn’t catch anything, not even a bite. I did see two HUGE snapping turtles. Walked the trail to the far dock and got a decent sized large mouth bass on my first cast. Nothing for about an hour so I switch to a smaller spinner bait and pulled in a couple blue gill by the dock.”

“All-season restrooms, diverse winter sea birds off the fishing pier, and a good spot for airplane watching. Three mile walk and run loop is great!! (Closed to bikes but you can lock your bike and walk the loop.) Burgers and fried seafood available only in summer. Nice place to enjoy the ocean and views of the Harbor islands.”

“Very nice beach with beautiful view of the city and the Boston Logan Airport. Went there in the winter, and it was deserted and very peaceful. The sand was clean, with is always a plus. There is convenient parking and accessible facilities. Would love to go back again!”

“One of the awesomest playgrounds in Boston! Definitely in my top two choices! It has a playground, awesome splash pad and wading pool and walking trails. There is a little parking lot which often fills up quickly but plenty of street parking.”

“What a nice spot to come visit (easy to walk in, you just need to find a little bit of parking nearby somewhere… Still not too difficult ) By the water, well manicured grasses and benches for relaxing. Offering a beautiful view of the city, (not directly facing the airport , with all that sort of noise…), with a more serene view of across the water, South Boston. We enjoyed our visit here very much.”

“Very nice place for a family walk with little kids. No bikes or skate boards are allowed. It would be perfect if everyone followed the no bike rule. There is always a breeze here on a hot day.”
