I had lost faith in the relocation industry after two of my colleagues lost stuff during their move. And when my time to relocate came, I promised myself to find a mover that would ensure the safety of everything on transit. It was also important since my wife and I were expecting, and we didn't want anything messing things up. So after a week or so of researching, Cross Country Long Distance Movers, Revere, MA turned out to be the mover who would stop at nothing to ensure that their clients were satisfied, and they did. My relocation was smooth and efficient for my small family, and I believed again.
This group was great. Online and customer service is awesome. There is a call back option on their webpage so you don't even have to wait on the line. On day of my schedule move they arrived early and prepped everything very quickly. Pack the few things I had lying out still and wrapped everything up extra snug. I had a few opinions and they listened and actually did what I asked and took care of my items. Didn't realize they had special moving stuff like the wooden crates used to move my fragile stuff. Thanks for making my move easy and seamless and on top of that the price wasn't bad at all. I will be using them again in the future. Also, thank you to the crew that came out.
My close friend was moving from Boston to LA (to be closer to me yay!) When I called Cross Country Movers to get a quote, they were clear and professional in explaining costs and even matched a competitive rate :)
MOVING DAY:
On moving day, they came on time (actually 10 mins early!), they were 3 guys who were super polite and professional. Us being 2 girls and hearing about moving scams before, we were so grateful they were such professionals! Because you never know these days...
PACKING UP:
Anyway, we went through the house with them and pointed out the fragile items, which there were a LOT of, and asked that they take extra care in packing them which they totally did! They were careful in wrapping each item individually, then packing them with like items in hard plastic bins. For the larger fragiles, they wrapped them in this blanket type thing and taped them up.
MOVING IN:
When we met them in LA, again they were super polite and took their time moving and unpacking all her things into the new place. They weren't rushing or throwing things around like some other moving companies would do. All the glass items were unharmed! :D
ALL IN ALL:
It was really smooth sailing. I just really appreciate the fact that they were polite, professional, and efficient! Made our move a lot easier than I thought it would be :)
