Five Guys

The fries at Five Guys are so infamously good that the manager at the Huntington Ave location in Boston had to bar a persistent customer in Boston who had a peanut allergy from eating the fries. He would come in order the fries, and within just a few minutes of eating them, start gasping for air and eventually drop to the floor from anaphalactic shock. It's an allergic reaction to the peanut oil and can be deadly. An ambulance would arrive, disrupt the entire restaurant, and bring traffic on Huntington Ave to a stand still. After this happened 2 or 3 times, every member of the staff was on full alert NOT TO SERVE the guy who's allergic to the fries because he will go into anaphalactic shock and he doesn't care. He just wants fries. Sure enough, 3 weeks later, with a new haircut and a rested appearance, the guy slipped through the cracks when he placed an order with a just-hired cashier. A line cook spots him right after he picks up his order at the end of the line adding ketchup and vinegar to the fries. He quickly notifies his manager and within seconds they tackle the guy to the floor. For a moment, it felt triumphant.

But it was too late. The guy was already gasping for air. He lived. But the fries were to die for. Or, the fries at Five Guys will take you breath away.

Great food. Shakes. & a little pricey but im old....so everythings expensive to me!

Five Guys makes a great cheeseburger, and they make it to order. They look, feel, and taste like the diner-style burgers of my youth. You'll love it. Their fries are to die for, too. That being said. . . . READ THE MENU! Their cheeseburger has two patties and is quite expensive. If you want a single patty burger, look further down the menu for their "little" cheeseburger. Enjoy!

Five guys is ok, but I would way prefer 5 girls. To each there own.

They always have fresh food served fast. Always a reliable staff on deck (I see familiar faces a lot which is great). The restaurant is always clean and the bathrooms are as well. Most importantly, you can expect a great experience there! Great burgers, great fries, EXCELLENT milkshakes! ???? Highly recommend
