“This post is in response to the negative review posted by Holly Desmarais. As the owner of Visiting Angels of Milford ,I try to ensure that all calls received by Visiting Angels are responded to with the utmost courtesy. On the day I received Ms. Desmarais' call ,the person who normally answers the phone in my office had called out sick.I had transferred my office phone to my cell phone and was driving to visit a client. I was on the turnpike at the time and did not want to be on the phone for an extended period of time,due to safety concerns. As a small business, we receive a high number of unsolicited sales calls. Ms Desmaris apparently works for a paving company ,I have no need of any paving and had not requested they call me. Ms Demaris did ask to be transferred,and i attempted to explain to her that I was the person to speak to, and that I didn't require her services. Ms Desmaris again requested I transfer her ,I again attempted to explain to her that I did not require her services. Ms Demaris again began to ask to speak to someone else .At that time the phone cut out ,I assume i hit a dead spot in tower coverage.”

“Baystate Audiology is a small, one-person operation. Darcy runs it. She has a sound booth and computer that talks to all the various hearing aids. She spent hours with me previewing four top-line aids and answered all my questions without any BS. She knows her stuff and her prices are good. She reserved judgment on my reactions to the different aids we were evaluating until I revealed my druthers, meaning she went out of her way to avoid “steering” me one way or another until I had decided what my gut was telling me was the best unit (she later confirmed my gut instinct, but I appreciated her holding off on that). I noticed Darcy has an excellent command of all the various manufactures’ hearing aid programming environments and is facile in navigating them all. I initially walked in with an evaluation pair (from a different audiologist) that had a lot of echo. She was able to read out the program and download it to a set of her own aids and tweaked them a bit to virtually eliminate the echo and harshness… so I knew she had it going. I recommend Baystate Audiology. Darcy is very competent, knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. She always returned my calls and responded to all my emails. She offers a wide variety of hearing aids at reasonable prices.”
