“My father, (Al Syatt) may he rest in peace, attended services here and always said what a wonderful little shul this was. I am in the area for a short time and was welcomed by the President (David Rappaport), the Rabbi (Elliott Hurvitz) and many congregants. I was even honored by given the privilege of opening the ark. I don't read Hebrew but there was a lot in English. I enjoyed the explanations from the Rabbi, all the singing, and a stellar performance of the shofar by David. If I lived in the area, Beth Shalom of Holbrook would be my temple.”

“TSNS has been a home away from home for my whole family. It's not just a great school but a great community. The director and staff go above and beyond the call of duty. They get the importance of child-directed play, they foster a love of nature with lots of outdoor time on an amazing playground and they bring elements of nature (like wagons of snow!) inside when it's too cold to stay outdoors, they are tuned in to what each individual child needs... the list goes on. There is Judaism worked into many of the activities and some of the routine but all children and families are welcome there. And there are lots of family activities too like parents' nights out, holiday gatherings or class play dates. You can't go wrong with this school.”

Congregation Ruach Israel

Address: 754 Greendale Ave, Needham, MA 02492, USA

Synagogue

“We have visited Ruach Israel about 8-10 times and we, in at least some ways do not fit the accepted description of "Jewish", but we were welcomed with open arms. We have gotten to know SEVERAL fine, dedicated people who recognize Yeshua (Jesus) as THE highest anointed one of Israel and the entire world. We noticed that some of the other people that commented didn't seem to understand some aspects of the need to preserve Jewish identity, celebration of entire families, and the forming of a community. The Messianic Jewish people have a specific task to accomplish, which to some may appear more like a "club" rather than a place of worship, but this is not the case. We believe 5 stars is just around the corner!”

“What a beautiful Temple! I recently visited at the end of 5777, and was warmly welcomed. Their sanctuary was just fully and newly renovated. I love the people - the kindness and generosity of spirit made me feel like some of the people I met were old friends. I find their services a beautiful blend of tradition and relevancy, while being totally accessible and deeply moving. I look forward to getting to know them better. They have so much stuff going on! I will be back, and with my kiddos. PS: I love they support interfaith families, which we are.”
