    I can’t even express how GREAT Liz & Chuck are. Sweethaven Resort is by far one of the best getaways I’ve had. It’s literally so so peaceful and quiet it’s simply amazing. Upon arrival I was greeted by Chuck and given a tour of my cabin. First time I’ve ever been given a tour before my stay anywhere. This is the place to be if you want a nice weekend getaway for sure. Will be coming back in the near future.

    Heron house was perfect for our stay in Union pier for our family reunion. Close enough to the beach to ride a bike ( of which they have loaners) nice morning walk around the 10 acre grounds or down to Black Currant Bkaehouse for coffee and a pastry. Beautiful resort with wonderful amenities.

    This was a perfect quick getaway from the city. Liz and Chuck are perfect hosts- welcoming and readily available throughout the day. The cabins are clean, whimsically decorated and well equipped with kitchen necessities. We had one issue with our cabin, but we felt comfortable to reach out to them about it and it was instantly and conveniently resolved. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone and look forward to my next visit!

    Excellent cabins close to the highway. Stayed in heron house, which was very new. Hot tub and screened in Patio were nice to have as well. Chuck was very friendly and showed us where everything was. Firewood was even provided! Would stay here again.

Sweethaven Resort has cute cottages in a semi secluded area in which you feel like you are in the woods. The owners were very kind, generous, and helpful. We were able to tour some of the other cottages that were vacant at the time. The cottages we looked at were clean and adorable. The hot tubs were a bonus!
