“We recently rented the “Lake Diane Retreat” for our annual family vacation. There were 9 adults and 2 kids (ages 11 and 8). The house and property are beautiful and very spacious. I loved that all the bedrooms, kitchen and living area were all on the main floor of the house. The kitchen in the lower level was also an added bonus. The pavilion down by the lake was really great and that is where we spent most of our time. The kids loved the swim platform and slide (as well as the adults). The owner has all the amenities that you need and is very responsive to your needs. He is very meticulous and takes great pride in his property. The lake itself is beautiful and was not busy, which was awesome. The sandy beach area was a pleasant addition. The cement driveway all the way down to the pavilion was great as I use a scooter for mobility. Unfortunately we did have a couple of mishaps so I was thankful we purchased the insurance. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property with us.”

“This is definitely one of those convenient stores that’s actually convenient. Especially if you are looking for liquor near the Camden/Pioneer area. They might look like a podunk little gas station, but they they aren’t. They have such an impressive variety of liquor for such a small place, you don’t ever expect it. They also carry a variety of necessities, whether food related or household related. I’d say that the liquor prices are very comparable to any other stores, maybe a few dollars more than Gays in Fremont, but that’s basically what it would cost by the time you drove there for that same bottle anyways. I’ve needed to get heavy cream or half and half before and sour cream and that definitely hurt more than if I had gone to meijer, but it’s convenient and that’s what you pay for. The employees I’ve dealt with have been great and very helpful.”

“Wow. What a great vacation house!! This house had everything that we needed. A slide for the kids. Great places to be together and space to be alone too. The kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed to make meals and the second kitchen made it even easier for two families to cook. The owners were great to work with and very helpful with responding to my constant calls. The beach area was great for the kids and the adults alike. We already booked again for next summer. You can tell the owners really care about their property and take great care of their home. So glad they shared their home with us. We cant wait to go back to create more fun memories!”

“The best taco I’ve ever had was in 2011 in Tijuana, Mexico — a man with a taco cart at the San Ysidro border crossing. Never would’ve thought that the closest thing to that taco could be found in Amboy County, Michigan. The perfectly seasoned steak inside the perfectly corny corn tortilla, with lime, cilantro, and *nothing else* —- that’s a real taco. Also, the margaritas were strong and our server was a delight. We’ll be back!”
