Amazing staff! Dedicated instructors and students. Grand Master Yu is the best.
A life changing place. Grand Master Yu is as good as it gets and it's a privilege to be able to train in his facility. I feel like I have a little extended family here at the dojang. Each instructor has a different teaching style and have different personalities (all of which are revered and appreciated) and as a result, they all shine uniqueness on what's being taught. So, each training session is refreshing! I always walk away with something new after every session. This is my therapy!
Yu's acedemy has been one of the most influential places in my life as a child and teenager, this family has gained my respect since the 80s, my father and I had gone to this school togeher, instructed kids together, I really wish I could come back one day and train again, Im not sure if his brother Hong Son Yu is still teaching anymore, my father and I became great friends with them over the years. If anyone is looking for a martial art school this is THE place to go. My father has since passed away, known as Master Ed. I just may give them a shout and hope they will honor my 3rd degree and train again. Huge bow to the Master Yu's and the family that created a great legacy. God bless all of them.

I was trained under Grandmaster Yu back in 1992 when we had a school here in Lebanon Tennessee. Master Yu was a great teacher of the arts and very passionate about helping others. What I liked about him the most he was always so kind and laid back easy to talk to. I have been training since then and now a Master instructor myself passing on the knowledge and passion to my students. Thank you very much Master Yu for taking the time to work with me and help me develop who I am today. God bless you sir...
Yu's is an excellent school to learn about Tae Kwon Do. My son joined after participating in Master Yu's Community Education program through Chesterfield Park and Recreation. The instructors work with the students and it is exciting to see your child progress and improve.
Its a great place for adults too!
