Harbor Light

I was just there I've been home for 2 weeks the staff is wonderful miss Sally is an angel she will take time with you then you have Miss Melissa the pastor there she will help you find your way to the Lord then you have Miss Donna she would listen to you and if you just need a shoulder to cry on she will be there all the counselors there are wonderful the staff is great Ms MO is the best cook they have had there she deserves help in that kitchen though cuz every time they hire cook for her that could quit it has changed my life for the good and then you have Omar who's a monitor he is so sweet and awesome he will talk to you he would listen to you just don't play him in ping pong because he wins every time

My name is Alan. My most recent experience without Salvation Harbor Light in Macomb. Was an experience that I'll never forget and has changed my life forever. Of course that is for the better. During my experience there unfortunately the program Corporation and the staff members were all dealing with the coronavirus 19 virus. Which made its struggle for both sides staff and patients. But yet with all that was going on in the change, I was able to find the light at the end of the tunnel God is giving me hundreds and hundreds maybe even thousands of chances throughout my life and I've always turned my back on them or I never gave him a chance. Just remember if you intend to seek help in such places is Harbor Light. Go in with an open mind and remember they have rules and regulations not just for you but for everyone that comes through that door. They're not just singling you out everybody has to work by guidelines. I'd like to thank the Salvation Army staff at Harbor Light for treating me like a human being, and never giving up on me.

The staff was wonderful. They were very polite and accommodating. The food was horrible tho

When 1st discovering about China- it's philosophy, language and traditions I was fortunate to have 2 mentors- Drs Tyler and Light. Both had lived, taught and explored there. It wasn't until translating and immersion that the scenes turn into tangibility. Upon returning to the US I was guided to personally check on this orgsnization. Now during the last 4 years i attended NA and one leader/ members told me about their experiences at HL and what we could gain from it. Good people and advice pointing me in that direction and I hope you choose them to.
