There is not enough space in this review to type all of the wonderful experiences I have had with this funeral home. We just concluded my mom's service. They are nothing but professional and did everything they could to accommodate our family's wishes. Tyler made the process of scheduling the services an easy process and was available at all hours for questions.

At 24, I never thought I'd be leaving a review for a funeral home. I never thought I'd have to make the decisions I made. During the worst time of my life Vondel was there for me. They made what seemed like an impossible thing to do much easier than I expected. They were kind and respectful and held my hand through it all. Tyler went above and beyond what anyone in a service position has ever done for me. They helped me remember everything when my mind was foggy. They kept in contact almost 24/7. They let me pop in just whenever to adjust arrangements or exchange documents. Another thing that was heavily mentioned at the service was how beautiful the place is. My father always had champagne taste so it was the first place I was interested in. I went in expecting it be priced much higher due to how "fancy" it was and I was pleasantly surprised to find out cost were right in line with an average funeral. Vondel is a company that cares and a company that puts profit back into their business and it really shows. Thank you Vondel team, I am forever grateful for you.

Vondel Smith & Sons went above and beyond for our family during a very difficult time in our lives. We cannot say enough nice things about this funeral home and their amazing staff. They helped us with every single detail, allowed us to change our mind frequently about details of the service, viewing, etc. They preferred us in all decision making and allowed us to make this experience about our wishes and desires.
