I never imagined that my mom could find peace while suffering from the difficulty of living with Dementia but she has at Walnut Creek. I had a referral to Walnut Creek from a friend last year but with Covid I held off on moving her. But I stayed in touch with the Owner. This was a Godsend to me to be able to ask questions and get some answers. We weren’t even a resident at this time. My Mom has now lived there for 7 months and is doing very well, even the transition went smoothly.
This home is such a blessing to not only her but her family as well. Caregiving is a special gift to give another human being and the entire staff treats everyone with dignity and kindness. And they are knowledgeable about every aspect of the disease. The owner Lijo and the entire team at Walnut have huge hearts of compassion! I have entrusted them with my mom's life and have never been disappointed. They have made her days brighter and have brought sweet relief for her mental anguish and tender loving care for her aging body. I am so blessed to be a part of the Walnut family!

The care for my client is AMAZING!!! Nadine and Mona are wonderful! I could not ask for more attentive, gentle, caring and loving people to work with her. When I was told my mother needed to be placed into a nursing home my heart sank. This was in April 2020, the start of the Covid 19 pandemic. While I was searching for a nursing home it was suggested I look into group homes. I found Walnut Creek Living and read the reviews. This was exactly what I was looking for. My mother was 100 years old at the time. From the first day I could tell I had made the right choice. Ray and Joann, her caregivers, are wonderful with her. They are kind, loving people who treat my mother as part of their family. My mother is now 101 years old. Because of the quarantine we were unable to be with her on her birthday. They celebrated with cake and ice cream. My mother speaks highly of you both. Thank you so much for all you do.

With my father falling ill so sudden, we had to scramble to find a place that could accommodate hospice. We hit the jackpot with Walnut Creek living. My father received the BEST care until he passed. Not only did he receive care, I truly felt so loved by Joann and Ray, his caregivers. During this difficult time having to watch my father decline so fast, they comforted me and helped guide me the entire time. I always felt so welcomed and was given updates when needed. This couple absolutely cares for its patients and their families. My father passed last week and Joanne took the time to crochet me an ornament because she knew it would be extra hard to lose him at the holidays. They go the extra mile and it meant so much to me.

Having to place a parent in an adult care facility is always a hard decision. After caring for my mom at home for many years, I found it to be extremely hard. The owners from Walnut Creek were quick to meet with us and answer any questions we had. They were also always just a phone call away.
Mom was placed at Beacon Square which turned out to be a blessing in disguise. The caregivers, Frances and Teesha cared for my mom as if they were her daughters. Mom was always clean, warm, comfortable no matter the time of day. I can never thank these two ladies enough for not only taking such great care of my mom, but caring for me as well. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
