Review on St Augustine Church Richmond Mi. Great church and great place to be!

Beautiful church, very traditional in layout. The Christmas decorations were still up, and were tasteful. The strained glass in particular was nice.

Very interesting sermon today. He said he saw a survey that said 75% of Catholics don't believe that the host is the body of Christ. So we believe that the host is the body of Christ and the wine is the blood of christ. If that's the case then it should never be a problem with serving host and wine at mass. However I can't remember the last time they served the wine in fear of covid. So is it any wonder that people have doubt when our own leadership doesn't believe that you have no worries of ingesting or sharing the wine as Christ's blood. It seems that our Catholic Church continues to find ways to push people away. I actually wanted to stand up and state this in church and I probably should have

Our family began attending mass about a year ago and our son was recently baptized here. We absolutely love the church, people and spiritual leaders. Such a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. We felt like we fit right in on day one! I would highly recommend becoming a parishioner if you are looking for a new church in the area.
