Having had the opportunity to utilize other caregiver resources not only in Florida but also in Michigan, Senior Helpers in Richmond was by far the most thoughtful and helpful until the very day my dear wife died, I do not think there are any better professional and caring individuals anywhere. They are the best!
My family found Senior Helper - Richmond to be very helpful, companionate and professional in caring for our family member. They did a wonderful job matching up a caregiver that made our whole family feel comfortable and well cared for. They owners were always willing to answer all our questions. I would definitely recommend Senior Helpers!
I called in a panic situation after a caregiver quit after a few days. Brian was out the same day that I called and explained the situation. He did an assessment of my sister at noon and I had help the next day. He listened to my problem and was very calming. I definitely would use his company again. Hopefully next time it will be a safe discharge. Thank you to the personnel at Senior Helpers.
I highly recommend Senior Helpers of Richmond. The caregivers that assisted my Dad took extra care to make things easier for my Dad. The office staff was very pleasant whenever I spoke with them. Rand Hewitt was exceptional to work with. When you are seeking this type of care for your loved one, it is a very stressful time. Rand Hewitt was extremely helpful in getting the care we needed for Dad and always had helpful suggestions whenever a new problem would arise. I consider our family very fortunate to have found this company to provide care for Dad. They are there to help you no matter what time of day or night.
Communication is easy and friendly. Caring and helpful staff. Knowledgeable caregivers who point out areas of concern to be aware of. My Mother recently was given a foley. We knew nothing about the care and maintenance. The medical staff at her urologists didn't give us any instructions. Our caregiver suggested a simple device that attaches to the leg and prevents the catheter from being pulled out. She also warned us about sediment collecting in the foley and the problems it can cause. She explained how a nurse should come out once a month to clean and irrigate it. The senior care office personnel gave me recommendations of who to contact that they were already working with on similar situations. It was so reassuring to have a name and number to give my Mom's primary care doctor who immediately agreed our caregiver was correct. Without the advice by our caregiver and the staff at senior services, My Mother would have had problems and we would have been clueless. Thanks for all of your help.
