“Beautiful church, don’t get me wrong it’s just the churchgoers that make me very uncomfortable. They tend to have this “ holier than thou“ attitude. I also live in this neighborhood. I’m going to give one of many examples. On more than one occasion I’ve been blocked off by a St. Anne school parent or churchgoer as they come from the driveway onto Arden. One woman a few weeks ago laughed at me in her car as she blocked me. I just wanted to go home. (There was a line to the light and for some reason she wanted to block oncoming traffic to sit there and wait for the line to move.) Nothing was hilarious about that. Stay in the driveway until there is room for you to pull onto Arden. A lot of them need to respect the families who live in this neighborhood. Sheesh. Safe to say I’ve found another church to attend. None the less, the church itself is beautiful. I wish i just wasn’t uncomfortable attending.”

“After about three or four years, I’ve decided to leave Crosswalk. Not due to any disagreements or an incident or anything like that, but for my own personal reasons. It is an oddly wonderful place, a church filled with people that all poke fun at one another and still love each other. They hold one another up no matter what happens, even when times are tough. I’ve heard so many wonderful things that the people at Crosswalk have done for each other, and though I am leaving, it’s not for any bad reason, I’m doing it for the sake of making my life easier. Of course, the church has it’s flaws, but every one does. If you can endure Keith’s seemingly endless off-topic discussions during service and the truly strange teens in the youth group (They’re not as bad as they seem, I promise), Crosswalk is a wonderful church to visit, you might just find your home in their welcoming community. I know for a fact that I will miss most of them.”
