I started swimming at the YMCA when I was 9 years old. Adding to my list was also aerobics, basketball and the workout machines.

Their dedication to the development of our youth is making a huge impact. All three of my kids have attended various classes here. But the best thing about the Monroe YMCA is that they offer adaptive sports for ALL abilities. We will always support an organization that includes everyone. So important!

Nice facilities and a good variety of lifting equipment. Decent prices for membership with access to the whole gym. With basketball, tennis, swimming, and kids activities it’s a great place for a family to get some exercise and work up a sweat. They have tons of community programs also. Single gym membership is about $40 a month. The 24 hr gym access is about $23 a year with my only complaint being that you don’t get access tot he locker rooms so Saturday and Sunday workouts can be limiting based on how hard you like to work and whether you want to shower at the gym afterwards. Access from 24hr gym to rest of the Y starts at 5:30 AM M-F and 8 on Sat with zero access to the rest of the Y on Sunday.
