“I went in to hime depot and like always I am scrambling to make sure I have everything, I ran into the store assistant manager (r. Mike) and he wanted me to sign up for a credit card. I told him that I was good without one and he asked me what all was in my cart and what it was for and I began to tell him, he then grabbed his phone and started to scan it and told me that one of the large items I had ordered were going to be taken off. I told him that these items were for a youth camp I was running and instead of hounding me to sign up for a credit card he ended up donating more money. Then at the register a man by the name of Rob, what an amazing guy to work with. Thank you for your support an willingness to give and not always take. The team there should definitely get rewarded for this a wonderful act of kindness and generosity.”

“I was referred to Lee by a club pro for a fitting of my current clubs. I called and he answered quickly and I was in the next day. Lee diagnosed my problem immediately as swing mechanics, not equipment (which is probably true for 90+% of people). He gave me a short lesson on how to help fix it and did not try to upsell me on any modifications to my current clubs. His advice was "get that fixed and then come see me again, no need to pay for a change now when it will change again later". I really appreciated his candor and honesty, I'll definitely be recommending him and returning.”

“I am a skeptic when it comes to doctors and clinicians because of past experience with both myself and my children. But I can say with total confidence that Easterseals has done an amazing job helping my daughters and myself cope and adapt in a healthy way to live successfully in todays world. I can’t imagine being a teenager now a days, and as a parent, I would do anything to help my girls get through these tough years. Colleen has done a wonderful job helping us communicate even if it’s uncomfortable for both of us. She helped save my beautiful daughter from going into a very dark place. I see some do not share the same experiences we have with Easterseals, but I’ve been in and out with my girls over the years, and between the staff, docs, and therapists, they have all done an amazing job, considering what they too, have to deal with day in and day out. At times my girls had to change therapists in the middle of treatment, but they did an alright job matching them with someone similar. And if they are ready and willing to change, and it’s explained that stuff like this happens, we got through it. It’s hard to keep constant staff on hand all the time, so I understood. “Me and my friend have tried many different restaurants around this area, since we like to try new restaurants every time we go to eat. Oakland Tea House is solidly in our top 3 favorite places, if not number 1. We went here for the first time not too long ago, and let me tell you, this was the BEST food I have had in a while! The pork dumplings are phenomenal! It's been a few days since I've eaten there and I still can't stop thinking about them.😂 But it's not just the dumplings that are delicious, the other food that we got was just as good. I had read the reviews before going, and saw many people had seemed to like the beef noodle soup. Now, this is the type of thing neither my friend nor I would naturally gravitate towards to order. However, I am so glad that we got it. It was so warm and flavorful. It felt like sitting on a couch cuddled up with a book and cup of tea on a rainy day. It was so comforting. The shop has a homey feel and is run by a very nice couple. The woman at the counter was so kind and helped us by recommending some dishes to us. Some of the reviewers said the food took a long time to come out, but that wasn't the case for us, though there weren't many people there when we went. Regardless, if the food took even an hour or two longer to come out, I would still happily sit and wait. It is so worth it! You can clearly taste the care that is put into each dish. Honestly, I can't recommend this place enough and will back very very soon.”

“We highly recommend Randall Residence for assisted living and memory care. The common spaces are pleasant, bright and open. Each resident has their own room with bedroom, bath and living area. The staff are excellent, very caring and engaging with the residents. My father lived at Randall Residence for 3 years and my mother-in-law lived there 2 1/2 years. We were very happy with the care that our parents received at Randall Residence.”
