“When ever I get to work with Acme, all fears and worries are gone. Acme has some of the most talented engineers in the industry. Whether or not the application is simple or highly complex their quality of work is second to none. I can’t thank Acme enough for all the knowledge they have passed down to me and continue to teach me. Our relationship started as a professional one but now I would consider many Acme employees great loyal friends.”

“We had Advanced Cabinetry remodel our kitchen and dining room and could not be happier. We had to make some changes to our materials because of the construction of the house but the offered an excellent alternative and the flooring looks great. The installation team was always on time (even with some tough weather) and they take pride in their work. Kris was great to work with as well as everyone involved with our project. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone planning a remodeling project”

“Michigan Glass Coatings installed 3M Night Vision 15 window film on every window in our home. The entire install took about 6 hours of work for two employees to complete. I spoke with Craig Compton on the phone, through email and text messages. Craig was very accommodating and willing to work with me. Craig mailed us a packet of information that had some samples of the various films they install, and I was very pleased to see the details inside. Craig didn’t stop there, he sent us a video showing a heat lamp demonstration and then drove to our home and performed the same test. 70 percent of heat blocked. Craig used my measurements to quote me (for several options). He recommended the Night Vision 15 to us by 3M Window Films. Night Vision 15 Window Film simply means that only 15% of the natural light will make it through the film. In addition to blocking as much as 70 percent of the heat, it’s blocking out 85 percent of the light. I can assure you that there is still plenty of natural light coming into our home. As a bonus, this particular window film provides us with daytime privacy. The brighter it is outside; the less people can see inside our home. Usually, by early morning, we have enough light outside to make it so we can walk around the house with all curtains and blinds open, and no one can see inside our home! If someone were to try and use a flashlight to see inside the windows (it would only make it more impossible for them to see inside). This is not your DIY install film you find at the local hardware and big box stores. This film is a professional grade, high quality film with superior adhesion. It looks great in the home, and outside. We have a corner lot, and we are now able to enjoy complete privacy while having all blinds open. Natural light without sacrificing our privacy to the neighborhood. Aaron and Marcus, the install crew, were kind and respectful of my property. They have drop cloths used to help protect the floor. They scrape the windows and clean them prior to install, as well as clean up their mess afterwards. The product they use for adhesion is basically soapy water. If they run into a problem, they are honest and will be direct with you. To prepare for their arrival, I removed a portion of my window locks for them (the thinner portion on the fixed pane of glass that the actual locking mechanism joins to). You must be very careful reinstalling, so you don’t scratch anything. I also removed the blinds in the window well itself, as well as furniture and items in the way. After the installation, wait 30 days to clean the windows as the film dries out. Out of the 51 panes of glass covered in film, only 7 had to be redone due to nicks, or bubbles, and even hair trapped under the film. I contacted Craig about the issues and provided photos and dimensions for all the windows needing to be re-filmed. Craig took all the information and passed it on to the owner of the business for me. Within only a couple of days they had scheduled the windows to be re-filmed. As of yesterday, the windows that needed to be re-filmed have been completed and look good. I will monitor them for 30 days as before (but I have no doubt that this company will take care of me if an issue arises). Michigan Glass Coatings is professional, courteous, and delivers a great product with great value. Remember, you aren’t just getting solar heat gain reduction (if you choose Night Vision 15) for example, you get privacy and piece of mind, and the film also works as a safety glass film when broken. This is a great product and has brought piece of mind to my family, health from being able to look out our windows without prying eyes, and heat gain reduction from the sun. Very happy with the results. I will try to remember to update this after summer 2022 to let everyone know how well the heat reduction works.”
