The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

I always feel so spiritually connected when I go here.

I went to see my Brother. sing! The Members were so nice and made me feel welcomed. I really enjoyed myself and I will visit again.

Visitors are welcome, the first part of service is called sacrament meeting, starts at 9am on sundays, and is a congregation style meeting entirely focused on Jesus Christ, with speakers from the congregation. The second hour is Sunday school that studies doctrine and scripture as well as teachings of modern prophets. Youth and adult classes are held also.

I'll tell you this: nowhere on earth can I feel the peace I feel here. If you're needing a break from the commotion in the world, check out their sunday worship services, or even just come and walk the grounds of the temple. You won't regret it, and you will feel better and more equipped for the challenges you face.

I grew up attending this church building and had a wonderful experience. Those who attend are among the finest I've known and are very welcoming to newcomers. There is a Stake Center where anyone is welcome to attend on Sundays (as well as youth programs and other activities during the week). Next to it is a Temple where active members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints go to perform sacred ordinances such as Eternal Marriages (called "Sealings").
