I’ve known Jessica for over 20 years. Over these many years I have watched her unwavering commitment to being of service grow. She continues to inspire me. Her commitment to professional growth and reflective practice is an example for other professionals to follow. She is versed in a variety of approaches to support personal development on all levels. She walks her faith and is deeply respectful of others spiritual journey. When I refer to her, I know her clients are well cared for. It is a blessing to have Jessica as a colleague and friend.

I was invited to Jessica’s Prayer and Meditation by my friend’s mom, who knew I was struggling with recent changes in my personal life. I had no expectations, I casually accepted the invitation, but really didn’t anticipate being fully committed. Well my head space and heart space were in two different places. My heart was open, Jessica was so inviting and devoted to her work, but what was captivating is how she connected with my spirit and attended to my place of need. It wasn’t so textbook and clinical but her organic approach to counseling sets her apart from others in the field. I’m so glad I accepted that invitation, I would have missed out on an experience that was utterly life-changing.

I've attended book studies and groups that Jessica has led She has Jesus' heart for the hurting. She brings a wealth of knowledge, empathy, practicality, and personal experience. She is grounded in her faith which leads her to love first and judge not. Her heart is open to everyone. In the conversations I've enjoyed with her, even during my hardest times, she has been able to shed light and hope. She encourages healing. She brings a plethora of tools, including just sitting and listening with me through my journey. I am a Christ follower, so I appreciate her incorporating scripture and prayer in our time together.

I have known Jessica for 15 years and am a fellow counselor. I have been trained in the area of formational prayer, which Jessica uses as part of her counseling practice. Formational prayer (along with other counseling methods) is effective in helping clients re-process memories, lies and wounds through empathy, kindness, and God's power to heal our brain and memories. I have seen Jessica work in this area and she is skilled, comforting and insightful. Jessica and I have led small groups together. Jessica is creative, intuitive and connects well with group members. Jessica understands the healing process, is a great listener (asks excellent questions) and wants to get to know each client and serve them well. Jessica is a professional who I recommend regularly for people looking for therapy.

Jessica is an excellent therapist! She develops wonderful rapport with parents and delivers just the right balance of empathy and challenge to clients. She is a wonderful co-worker! She is organized and thorough, engaging and creative.
