Halsted Place Apartments

Halsted place is a wonderful place for your senior parent to live. The directors are wonderful and caring. They go above and beyond to help you. The food is very good and there’s a menu you can order off of. My mom lived there 5 years and all the people working there from housekeeping to dining room to cook to receptionist to directors become family. During the pandemic they handled things wonderfully and had no cases of Covid.
I can’t say enough about Hasted place

Visited a resident. Seemed like a pleasant place. Nice front reception area with comfortable seating and piano. Resident had a first floor 2 bedroom apartment which was comfortable and well laid out. They allow residents to have a dog or cat. Can not rate much more because short visit was spent in resident's apartment.

Halsted Place Apartments is truly a hidden gem in terms of senior living facilities. My mother lived at Halsted Place Apartments for 5+ years and we have been truly impressed year over year by the dedicated staff, compassionate nursing care, and family of owners who operate the facility.

At this facility, seniors can live independently in the nicely sized apartments. There is a beautiful central dining room with white table cloths where residents gather for lunch and dinner. The food is excellent and options are provided. There is a bus that takes residents shopping and to fun activities. The family who runs the facility takes great pride in decorating for the holidays, creates a calendar of fun activities and arts and crafts, and brings in entertainment for the residents.

There is an on-site nursing care service that can support most health issues. We really appreciated that the level of nursing care was flexible to support our mom's needs as her health changed. The nursing team took unbelievable care of my mom and treated her like a family member. They were incredible at every stage of her health conditions and the owner was highly involved and responsive as medical issues arose.

Finding a home for your older loved ones can be extremely stressful; we we so fortunate to find Halsted Place and would highly recommend their services.

The BEST! My family cannot rave enough about Halsted Place. Outstanding experience with my mom. Always a warm welcome in a gorgeous lobby. Beautiful inside, clean and the entire staff is awesome. The Nursing care is TOP NOTCH. We love HP!
