“Ever since I fell in love with so many small businesses in the Metro Detroit area, this past September I spent a bit of time looking for a fitness studio that offers hybrid (virtual and in-person Live) classes. One of them I found was Mid American Fitness. I EASILY fell in love with the studio despite living a half day drive away! *FYI: A drive from my hometown in the Hudson Valley or from Stony Brook University is 12+ hours away from the studio.* So for obvious reasons, I have just been joining virtually. My first ever class was with Ericka, one of my favorite instructors. I heard she’s had so many years of experience, which I truly love and appreciate. I exposed myself to so many new workouts I’ve never tried before. Stony Brook University’s Recreation Center has all the equipment I need so I can follow along with the in-person people. I’m very happy that I never had to pay extra money just to buy my own equipment. I’m also super happy that Mid American Fit continues to offer virtual spots even now, since the first few weeks of the pandemic and I only started joining this past fall. My only complaint is that Stony has very strict mask mandates inside the Rec Center, which may sometimes prevent me from fully following along. Other than that, I LOVE all the instructors and everything about Mid American Fitness itself so much!”

“I sure hope this rite aid values and compensates their pharmacist Wes appropriately, as he is the gem that keeps me going there. He certainly does the customer service gig better than most, and I'm sure his above and beyond ethic applies behind the counter as well. I always knew I liked him, but a few months ago, i was getting a diff tall guy for like 2-3 months, and the new guy was, simply put, Rude and inconsiderate. And had me seriously debating on changing my pharmacy. Thank goodness it must have been temporary and Wes is back. And I haven't seen the other guy since.Which inspired me to write this review. It's so nice to be treated with kindness and respect, and DEFINITELY makes a HUGE difference. On my end and I'm sure the business aspect of it too. Wes is awesome!”

“My parents joined Sunrise Farmington Hills three years ago, and my mom is now in the Reminiscence memory care neighborhood. The community is attractive and very clean. The staff, to a person, has bent over backwards to make her feel comfortable, secure and cared for. They greet me like family when I walk through the front door. There are staff dedicated to activities, geared to each resident’s abilities. My mother’s care staff (including specially trained “med-techs” who meticulously manage daily medicine administration) work hard and are always willing to respond to my requests. The nursing staff is knowledgeable, gentle, and very patient with both my mom and me. I am glad I chose Sunrise Farmington Hills.”
