“When I walked into the studio I was greeted and given a quick but thorough informative tour. The studio offers hair styling, child care, a breastfeeding room, lactation services, a peaceful work-space, and several yoga classes. Some of the yoga classes are for both moms and babies. I was enrolled in the yoga chill class. The class was very small with a few moms and soon to be moms. The room was almost completely dark with just a few candles string lights. The environment was very calming and the low volume music helped me to focus more on my breathing. We did toe squats, table pose, the butterfly, fetal position, child position, and a few positions utilizing the wall. The class was so calm I nearly went to sleep in the deep relaxation portion of the class. It was great and I would recommend this studio for moms and soon to be moms. I felt very welcome and would like to take another class or possibly enroll in a membership.”

He also had a relative of his come in and clean out the sewer of tree roots including capturing video for a price $300 lower than other competitors. “Nice ambiance and music. Place was empty when we went yesterday, it was 9 something so that is not shocking. Drinks are 13 or 14 dollars per, and you get them in a small plastic cup. It felt like we were getting ripped off so we only ordered one round. We wanted to eat so I asked one of the ladies there if they served food, instead of answering the question she liked at me like I was stupid, then pointed to a young guy by the front door. I think, there was a sign that said something about vegan food, and the guy had on gloves Luke he was handling food, but you couldn't see it smell any food. So the ladies that I was with asked me to go over and check out the food, but the fact that I was right at the table and I could not smell any food made us decide to pass on the food. My second time here, I have never had what I would call a bad experience, I will give them another try eventually.”

“If you are a someone who isn’t familiar with hair styles or how exactly to explain how you want your hair done, but just want a good cut that’s flattering on you, Christopher C. is your guy. I went to Union Barber after my previous barber retired and selected Chris by chance and glad I did. He did a great job deciphering what I wanted and even corrected a few spots where my old barber was actually cutting my hair wrong so it lays much better now. I love my haircut and I’m glad I have a solid barber again. I highly recommend if you want the same treatment, you need book an appointment with him.”

“The doctors and staff here provide such excellent care. For years I was terrified to have my feet looked at, even though as a type 1 diabetic I knew I needed to get checked out. Dr. Gibson was so wonderful and took so much time with me, not only helping me with my diabetic issues and care of my feet, but also with helping me to diagnose other walking issues. “Our family loves Nature's Playhouse! We discovered this amazing space and the amazing people when I was pregant with my first. Through some info sessions, we discovered the importance of doulas and hypnobirthing! I also attended many sessions of prenatal yoga and dancing for birth (when it was offered). Juliana is an amazing instructor who really cares for her students and provides knowledgeable instruction catered to the students in each class. Her prenatal yoga class provides the perfect balance of self care and preparing for baby! We also really enjoyed the baby massage class and drop-in play. The therapists are great! They are my go-to recommendation for pregnant people and new parents. I have also really enjoyed Preya's yoga nidra classes and Tanja's wild women circles. The entire team has been amazing during the pandemic by switching many things to virtual as soon as possible, returning back to the space when it made sense, while also keeping virtual options available for those of us not yet ready to join in-person. I look forward to returning to the space soon. I recommend that all pregant people and families with children in the metro-Detroit area explore all that Nature's Playhouse has to offer!”

My girl had the fish & chips & of course I tried hers & that was delicious too. Our waitress name was Carmen & she was 1 of the best waitresses that I've EVER had at an establishment. Very attentive & kept making sure our beverages stayed full. I definitely recommend this place for food.”

“If you want a no nonsense massage that really gets into your trouble areas, Aaron is your man. He really listened to my needs and went for it. He used very firm pressure in my problem areas, but made sure to check in on me and talk me through my breathing when needed. It was different from any massage I’ve had ever had, but it was absolutely what my body needed. I will definitely be returning to him!”

“Currently renting their pavilion to run a small summer camp. This park has been perfect! It's extremely well maintained, the maintenance staff are really nice and the pavilion is beautiful. I love the looped trail around the park, the roller hockey rink, and the baseball fields as well. I'm excited to start bringing my son to the playground once camp is done!”
