Holly McGinnis Lake Campground

Always our go to when starting the season. Spacious sites, great rangers, and well kept grounds. Still priced reasonable compared to other state campgrounds jacking their prices up.

The campsites are large and well spaced out. However, on all the brochures and website, it shows an awesome water obstacle course. It's there, but $16 per kid and $17 per adult for 50 minutes. It would have been nice for it to be mentioned in the advertising that the course is run by a third party and is spendy. Fun, but spendy

Visited Holly McGinnis Lake Campground on June 5, 2021. Beautiful campground with lots of trees and large, well-maintained camp sites. The camp hosts for this month, Char and Marci, were super welcoming and friendly. They were very knowledgeable about the campground, showed us around and had fun activities planned for both kids and adults. Really enjoyed our time there!

The electric cord on our camper didn't reach the box at the campsite, but they were kind enough to let us switch 2 not times free of charge. The water on tap is excellent. The camping sites are secluded and there is very little traffic. A few small playgrounds are available.
