Dr Johnston is an extremely thorough, caring and an out-of-the-box problem solver! Our family physician recommended Dr Johnston after another well established urologist treated my elderly father -horribly. Dr Johnston did not accept the recommended approach, and put my Dad on a very healthy path to recovery. My father saw Dr Johnston for checkups for years and stated, “Dr Johnston is a brilliant, patient and truly compassionate doctor - the best! He has great wit and is truly top-notch!” We recommend him often.

Dr. Johnston is amazing!! I had been to so many “specialist” and none could figure out what was wrong with my kidney. I lived in pain on a daily basis because I was tired of wasting money on drs and testing to the point where I just dealt with the pain and would have incredibly painful flair ups that were debilitating. It took one really bad episode and a trip to the ER to go to him after a referral, he ordered one test and knew exactly what was wrong. He performed the surgery and I woke up in recovery and could immediately feel the pain was gone. I have no pain whatsoever now and cannot thank him enough. He was very professional and kind.

What can say? Dr. Johnston is fantastic. He did my prostate surgery and I went to him for a second opinion when I didn't feel comfortable with my first referral. It was my first surgery in my life and I'm Canadian now living in the US. He prepared me extremely well, very quickly/efficiently and his bedside manner through the whole surgery was impeccable. One of the best doctors I've ever had. So far so good after the surgery and it's been six months. No evidence of recurrence with many thanks to Dr. Johnston. Highly highly recommended!

My husband was treated by Dr Johnston. He has a direct but compassionate bedside manner, was timely and very informative. He made time in his schedule for an emergency procedure and kept in close communications as to my husbands progress, acting as lead for his care. His staff was very friendly and helpful in setting up scans at an unaffiliated hospital, when they could have just handed us the paperwork to do ourselves. We are very thankful to have found Dr Johnston to help us understand options and work through a very scary time on our lives.
