St. Joseph Catholic Church & School

Absolutely incredible experience. As I am currently a freshman in high-school now and was a member of the class of 2021, I couldn't say enough about this school. Whatever I accomplish in life, this school will be at the top of my reasons why. Having come here, the transition into high-school so far has been absolutely seamless, and I was able to earn a very large academic scholarship into a top high-school. However, I believe that the family environment what made my experience unmatched. The bond between the students and teachers allowed for an amazing learning environment. I would absolutely love to give an individual shoutout to each teacher that has changed my life for the better if it weren't for the word restriction on the Niche review since I would go far over. Though I am devasted that my time here is over at, I do love the fact that I can come back every Sunday for Mass where I'm able to see all of my old classmates again and return back to what feels like home.

Great academic level and strong emphasis on values, faith, respect, and kindness are promoted daily by the school. As parents, we have been impressed with St. Joseph School, especially during the COVID19 crisis. When all schools shut down, St. Joe's did not lose a single day of academic instruction. The students had been equipped with ipads at the beginning of the school year, and they already knew how to use the programs needed. The teachers were simply amazing, not only teaching virtually, but encouraging students to see the good amid all the challenges that we were all facing. Mr Zmikly, our principal, kept us all united in faith by leading students and parents in prayer remotely every morning and by keeping us all informed. The plans to go back to school this fall are truly very impressive. We highly recommend the school and feel very fortunate to be part of the St Joseph School family.

I graduated in 2013 from here and I am so thankful that my parents enrolled me. I used more of the things I learned at SJS in college then anything I learned in high school.

Awesome spirit filled church! Priests, Deacons and staff are always there to help, fantastic music department and multiple choirs. The guidance received made it very easy to raise my daughters. The only thing that's missing is you!

St. Joseph's Church and School Community has been home to our family for more than 10 years now. My children all went to the Grade School and graduated 8th grade from St Joseph School. We were active school parents and enjoyed our time with other parents, faculty and our children's friends. The academics laid the proper groundwork for our oldest to be successful in High School, College and his career and our other two are progressing just as nicely. We were involved in the plays, sports, scouts and many extracurricular activities.

Most important to us as a family, our children have learned morals and values that Christ teaches, they learned to pray and to know what holiness can be. The parish is alive and active and a place where Christ lives and is visible outside the pews. The adoration chapel is my personal favorite.

I can only thank God, Fr. Mike and his staff for the opportunity to be part of this community they have done a good job nurturing this parish and school. We continue as members of the parish and hope to for many years to come.

With our yougest having graduated a year ago, it seems an appropriate time to say thank you and acknowledge what the community has meant over the last 10 years and offer that encouragement to to future parents and families.
