One of the best cider mills I have ever been too! Been going here since I was 3. The apple cider here is amazing, and so are their donuts. The jam is delicious as well. I would suggest coming here because you can also go on nature trails and see a waterfall not too far. Loved it! A family attraction!
Best cider mill in Metro Detroit. It's changed and evolved over the years and generations. Beautiful area for family pictures along the Clinton River. The baked goods are amazing. Cider is so crisp and tangy. We look forward to this every year. Open till just about Christmas.
It's a quaint mill with farm animals you can pet and feed as well as a pony ride. Much of the experience is outside the mill building itself. Inside is a small shop for delicious donuts, apple cider and preserves. You also get to see the process of making the apple cider. I thought they had more going on inside judging by the large building. Oh there's a hiking trail there too.
It's a really nice cider mill. I only stopped in for Donuts and cider/cider slush. The donuts were tasty, even if they are a bit on the tiny side for their cost. The cider slush is amazing! They have all the rest of your basic cider mill needs, honey, sauces, jam and jellies, Etc. Etc. However, they do it have there own ice cream served at the ice cream parlor attached. I didn't get the chance to try it, but damn it looked good. And that Donut Sundae they offer.. looks mouth watering. Nice area, lots of parking, good place for a to few family photos. All. In all, it's a good Cider mill that you should check out.
Yates is one of my favorite places for apple cider and donuts. Their donuts are to die for they are so good. I bought three bags of them one time I visited they were so good. It also is a beautiful spot for a fall hike because they have at least a 3 or 4 mile walking path along the river there. It's a beautiful spot for a small picnic, taking photos or enjoying a walk. If you want a quiet walk, weekends are usually busy so the weekday morning are probably better. I have gone here countless times for shoots and it's always a favorite spot of mine.
